Questions
How do I get the reviews of an AliExpress product?
Take the product id from its URL (the number in aliexpress.com/item/<id>.html) and call GET /v1/reviews/<id> with your API key in the x-api-key header. You get one page of reviews as JSON, plus the product’s rating summary.
Do I need an AliExpress developer account?
No. Create an AliExpress Reviews API account, get a key from the dashboard and start making requests. There is no AliExpress app key or affiliate approval involved.
Which filters can I use?
The same ones AliExpress shows on the product page: all reviews, 1 to 5 stars, reviews with photos, reviews with additional feedback and local reviews from a given country. One filter per request.
Can I get reviews in my language?
Yes. On the Pro and Max plans, reviews come translated to English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch or Polish, and the original text is always included.
Are review photos included?
On the Max plan every review includes its image and thumbnail URLs, and you can filter for reviews with photos.
How fresh is the data?
Each page of results is cached for up to 24 hours, so a new review can take up to a day to appear.
Is there a free plan?
Yes: 100 requests a day with star filters and up to 20 reviews per page, no credit card needed.
